This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Akamai Edge conference, and we’re especially excited to bring a back the Developer Zone, a special section of the conference made just for our developer community. As part of the Developer Zone, we’ll be hosting a Developer Track featuring over 36 talks for developers by developers.
This is where you come in!
We’re looking for inspiring talks on a range of topics including devops, web performance, and security. We encourage anyone interested in speaking at Edge to submit a proposal, regardless of your level of speaking experience. If you have a topic that you’re excited to share with the developer community, we want to hear from you!
Proposal Submission Guidelines
The deadline for submissions is: August 20th, 2017. We’ll let you know if your talk is accepted by August 28th, 2017. Note that proposals will be reviewed anonymously.
Talks are scheduled for 40 minute blocks. While there are no official restrictions on the topics, some of the high-level categories that we’re particularly interested in include:
- Akamai Integrations and Use Cases
- High Performance Web Experiences
- Securing Sites and Applications
- Delivering Digital Entertainment
- DevOps workflows, tools, and integrations
