Optimize your life

Optimize Your Life at #PerfMatters Web Performance Conference

March 26, 2018 · by Javier Garza

I love conferences, especially web performance conferences, and I wanted to share with you an exciting new web performance conference: it’s called #Perfmatters and it’s running March 27 & 28 in Redwood City, CA (near San Francisco).

The #PerfMatters conference is run by the legendary Estelle Weyl, who has been advocating for web performance for many years. She is a good friend of mine, and a magnificent web developer, author, and speaker.

This conference features 23 world-class speakers, including such industry leaders as Tim Kadlec, Yoav Weiss, Paul Irish, and more.  The speakers lineup at #PerfMatters is filled with people who often present at well-established conferences that come with a much higher ticket price.

For those of you who know me, you probably noticed that I strive to optimize all parts of my life, and get the most out of each day. In fact, I am presenting a short and fun talk at #PerfMatters called “Optimize Your Life” (March 28 @ 9:40am), where I share some personal stories on how I optimized things in my life, like playing computer games, surfing in Hawaii, and a long bike commute in the Bay Area, and how you can use the same principles to optimize web performance.

As if that’s not enough, here is a 10% discount code you can use if you haven’t signed up already: MYSITEWASFASTERTHANYOURSITE

Get registered now, because the conference starts tomorrow; hope to see you there!

Best regards, Javier
