We had a blast meeting and talking DevOps and web performance with everybody at the Velocity + Fluent conference in San Jose earlier this month. In case you missed any of the Akamai Developer sessions, you can find recordings below. We had four popular speakers that you’ll want to be sure to check out:
Fluent session: “Measuring What Matters” Cliff Crocker, product line director, Akamai Technologies [slides]
Fluent session: “Tracking the Performance of the Web With HTTP Archive” Paul Calvano, senior web performance architect, Akamai Technologies [slides]
Fluent session: “When Third Parties Stop Being Polite…and Start Getting Real” Nic Jansma, senior principal lead software engineer, Akamai Technologies Charles Vazac, principal software engineer, Akamai Technologies [slides]
The expo hall at the at Velocity was absolutely electric. At the center of it all, we were spinning tunes from our favorite playlists, making custom t-shirts, and delivering dazzling talks and demos at our equally dazzling booth (see dazzle proof in photo below). Plus, among our many friendly and interesting booth visitors there were two lucky winners of a brand-new DJI Spark mini-drone, courtesy of the Akamai Developer Program.
But wait, there was more. Here are links to some additional, thought-provoking content related to topics we covered at Velocity 2018:
- Learn all about API Performance and our new Akamai API Gateway from Davey Shafik.
- Do you know how your customers perceive your web performance? Anthony Larkin will walk you through it here.
- There’s soooooo much you can do at the edge. Javier Garza shares 10 things you probably didn’t know you could do at the edge.
- Image optimization is vital to your website performance. Don’t miss out on what Akamai Image Manager can do for you
Don’t worry, you won’t have to wait until next year to see us again. Be sure you’re part of the Akamai Developer Program and you’ll be the first to receive exclusive invites to our upcoming events.
