Media Acceleration SDK
The next generation of Akamai’s media acceleration technology is designed to improve viewing experiences for over-the-top (OTT) video, accelerate video games and other software downloads. This SDK embraces standards-based technology in an effort to reach more devices, and is integrated with Akamai Media Delivery products, the Luna portal, and supports self-service integration. It’s available as a feature of Adaptive Media Delivery, Download Delivery, Media Services Live and Media Services On Demand.
Adaptive Media Player SDK
The Adaptive Media Player (AMP) SDKs provide a simple way to insert a quality media playback experience in your web, iOS/tvOS, and Android applications. Whether you are building out your OTT service or offering an enterprise webcasting application, Akamai AMP provides a single component that pre-integrates playback, acceleration, monetization, and analytics to ensure a fast, reliable, quality deployment that greatly reduces the work for developers. This SDK includes Akamai components like Media Analytics and Infinite Media Acceleration, as well as third-party components from Nielsen, Comscore, Adobe, Google, Freewheel and more. AMP is iterated at a fast-pace, driven both by customer and industry requirements. Additionally, the AMP service includes high-touch integration assistance and support from a dedicated services team for no additional cost.
HTTPie
If you’re a Web Developer or DevOps, you probably have to deal with several API systems daily. HTTPie allows you to easily explore APIs before you decide if it’s worth to spend the effort to code a client using one of the programming languages like Python, Ruby, Go, etc.
Akamai CLI
The Akamai CLI gives developers a completely new way to interact with their Akamai cloud delivery configurations. Akamai CLI is your toolkit for working with Akamai on the command line. It delivers a unified and extensible developer experience for anyone who needs to work with or automate Akamai. We had a vision for what a command line experience should be like, and we modeled the Akamai CLI around that vision. In short, we wanted to create a tool to help you get your work done, quickly and easily.
