Mobile App Performance SDK
The Akamai Mobile App Performance software development kit (MAP SDK), for both iOS and Android native apps, helps developers build the best possible mobile experience, even when connection speeds are slow or unavailable. This SDK effectively extends the Akamai edge all the way to your mobile device allowing you to customize and deliver instant app experiences based on network-awareness, and last-mile optimization technologies. Developers gain the ability to pre-position content to maintain quality experiences even when network quality degrades or users are offline. Additionally, this SDK gives you real user and device insights, including custom metrics, to help tune mobile experiences over time.
Our Akamai Provider for Terraform is an integration that covers Property Manager (PAPI), FastDNS, Cloudlets, and Global Traffic Management (GTM) with the Certificate Provisioning System (CPS). If you’re not familiar with Terraform, it’s a tool that enables you to codify your infrastructure in a configuration file (using HCL) that is part of your change-management process, so the configuration is included in your revision control, peer review, and continuous integration and deployment processes. This configuration file can then be executed by Terraform to realize the infrastructure described within.
If you’re a Web Developer or DevOps, you probably have to deal with several API systems daily. HTTPie allows you to easily explore APIs before you decide if it’s worth to spend the effort to code a client using one of the programming languages like Python, Ruby, Go, etc.
The Akamai CLI gives developers a completely new way to interact with their Akamai cloud delivery configurations. Akamai CLI is your toolkit for working with Akamai on the command line. It delivers a unified and extensible developer experience for anyone who needs to work with or automate Akamai. We had a vision for what a command line experience should be like, and we modeled the Akamai CLI around that vision. In short, we wanted to create a tool to help you get your work done, quickly and easily.
